Here you will find the terms and conditions of the three Sol Caribe Hotels on San Andrés Island.

**The three Sol Caribe hotels have the same conditions.

Additionally, the terms and conditions of Hotel Casa Laureles in the city of Medellín and Hotel Sicarare in the city of Valledupar.

RESERVATION CONFIRMATION
  • If you booked through one of our sales representatives, you will receive a confirmation code certifying that your reservation has been issued.

  • If you booked through our website, you will receive a voucher in your email with a reservation code.

RESERVATIONS MADE THROUGH ONLINE PLATFORMS AND AGENCIES
If you booked through an online platform, you will receive a confirmation email issued by that platform. If you do not receive it, you must contact them directly or write to us at: comercial.hcl@solarhoteles.com If you booked through a travel agency,you will receive a voucher issued by the agency.

CHANGE POLICIES
Podrás realizar cambios en tus fechas de viaje hasta 5 días antes de la fecha de reserva sin ningún cargo.
You may change your travel dates up to 5 days before your reservation date at no additional cost. Date changes due to force majeure have no penalty. Force majeure includes:
  • ⁠If your trip is affected by airline cancellations or modifications.

  • ⁠Domestic calamity or medical incapacity.
  • 📩 To request a name or date change, send an email with your reservation information to hola@solarhoteles.com

CANCELLATION POLICIES AND SEASONS
Low Season Cancellation Policies
  • ⁠If you cancel up to 5 days before your trip, no penalty will apply.

  • ⁠If you cancel less than 5 days before, you must pay the value of the first night.

Low Season Dates:
  • ⁠ ⁠January 13 to December 15 (Except high-season dates).

High Season Cancellation Policies
  • If you cancel up to 15 days before your trip, no penalty will apply.

  • ⁠If you cancel less than 15 days before, you must pay the value of the first night.

  • CHECK IN - 3:00 p.m. (Colombia time)

  • CHECK OUT-1:00 p.m. (Colombia time)

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS
If you are a Colombian citizen, you must present: National ID card (Cédula de ciudadanía) and tourist card.
If you are a foreigner, you must present: ⁠Valid passport

REQUIREMENTS FOR MINORS If traveling with their parents, minors must present:
  • ⁠Birth certificate if under 7 years old.

  • ⁠Identity card if over 7 years old.


If traveling with an adult who is not their parent, they must present:
  • Notarized authorization from the parents and proof of first-degree kinship

  • Birth certificate or identity card.

WE PROTECT MINORS
Hotel Sicarare is committed to preventing the sexual and commercial exploitation of children and adolescents. We carry out awareness and prevention campaigns.
We promptly notify the relevant authorities to report such acts and support all legal actions.

  • If you made your reservation through one of our sales executives, you will receive a confirmation code certifying that your reservation has been issued.

  • If you booked through our website, you will receive a voucher in your email with a reservation code.

  • ⚠️ FOR YOUR SAFETY: We do not send reservation codes from personal emails, chats, or WhatsApp—only from our corporate emails ending in @solarhoteles.com

  • We do not accept payments into bank accounts belonging to individuals or travel agencies.

  • ⁠We do not provide assistance through voice messages.

  • ⁠If you have questions, write to us on WhatsApp or call us at +57 318 708 0035.

CHANGE POLICIES
  • Date changes due to force majeure have no penalty. Force majeure includes:

  • ⁠Being affected by airline cancellations or schedule changes.

  • ⁠Domestic calamity or medical incapacity.

CANCELLATION POLICIES Low Season Cancellation Policies
  • ⁠If you cancel up to 5 days before your trip, you will not incur any penalty.

  • ⁠If you cancel less than 5 days before, you must pay the value of the first night.


Low Season Dates:
  • ⁠February 1 to December 28, 2027.*Except Holly week

  • January 16 to 31, 2027


High Season Cancellation Policies
  • ⁠If you cancel up to 15 days before your trip, you will not incur any penalty.

  • If you cancel less than 15 days before, you must pay the value of the first night.


High Season Dates:
⁠December 29, 2026 to January 10, 2027

NO-SHOW PENALTY
  • If you do not arrive at the hotel on the scheduled date of your reservation for check-in, you must pay a penalty equivalent to the value of the first night of accommodation, regardless of the season. This is the No-Show penalty.

  • CHECK IN - 3:00 p.m. (Colombia time)

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS
If you are a Colombian citizen, you must present: National ID card (Cédula de ciudadanía) and tourist card.
If you are a foreigner, you must present: ⁠Valid passport and tourist card.

TOURIST CARD The tourist card is a mandatory tax required for ALL persons entering the island, both nationals and foreigners.
  • ⁠You must purchase this card before arriving on the island. Its cost is 153,000 COP per person.

  • Upon arrival at the airport, check with your airline on where to purchase it. You must have it fully filled out to present it at the San Andrés airport.

  • This tax is NOT included in any of our plans.

REQUIREMENTS FOR MINORS
If traveling with their parents, minors must present:
  • ⁠Birth certificate if under 7 years old.

  • ⁠Identity card and tourist card if over 7 years old.


All children travelling: alone; or; with adults who are not their legal guardian; or; with only one parent may need an extra (official) document signed by their parents, second parent or legal guardian(s) authorising them to travel.
  • Birth certificate or identity card.

  • ⁠Tourist card if over 7 years old.
